“If I'm not using it for long periods of time should I unplug it from the wall or just always leave it plugged in?”

• I'm not an expert, but i'm in the habit of ejecting and unplugging when i'm not using. I think keeping it connected all the time may possibly wear it down, but just a theory. I know I've read that you should use tech at least periodically, so i try to use at least 2x / month.
