Absolutely. This drive can run PLEX server (free) and then I put that app on my streaming devices, phones, tablets and PCs. PLEX runs really well on this drive and provides an amazing interface to your, movies, pictures and music.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES You have to stream through a media device, but many TVs now have that built in. I use mine with my AT&T TV box and my Fire TV/Fire Sticks. Better than running Plex server from a PC, because PCs go to sleep and then you have to go wake them up, this is on 24/7 and works like a dream.
