Will this work with Windows XP null

Yes as long as you have a USB 2 port on the computer. I have used a Passport with XP for several years. This one is USB 2 compatible so there should be no issues.

Vista does not support USB 3.0 so it will not read/write as fast as it could. It will work just fine though!

I use this with my older computer that is Windows XP. I have no problems.
