• NO it does not come with everything you need. If you have a MAC BOOK PRO the cord to the device is not compatible, you will need a USB-C to USB Adapter.

• If the box it came in says PC, you will need to download and install a program from WD (Western Digital). When you plug it up to a Mac, you should receive a prompt asking if you want to stall this program on your Mac. Once the program is installed, you should be able to use it with both PC & Mac. If the box says MAC, you should be able use it right away.
