“Can I download microSD cards directly (w/ adapter) without using any apps, smart phone, computer? Ie just plug in the card. Also how long does it typically hold a charge? I'm moving video (gopro) to it in remote locations so I can reuse the microSD”

• No you can’t. It is powered via usb when plugged in to your laptop.

• No, this is an external hard drive. There is no battery, and no way to move content between storage devices without a computer of some sort. Your best bet is to buy multiple high capacity micro sd cards and a storage case.

• The Portable Hard Drive has No user Interface so unless your Device Can give you visual ques. It will not Xfer the info automatically.
