“Once I use my passport back up and then if I back it up in a month again will it start where I left off or will it back everything in my computer again or do you have to delete before using back up again”

If you are using the WD Backup software, it will only backup what has changed since the last backup. If it did not complete the prior backup, it will pick up where it left off.
