• I suggest you go to the website for My Passport and ask. Otherwise it does say you can reformat it and wipe it clean to use on other devices. I use on my Mac.

• Not sure . Macs are funny about sharing hardware , and so are Sony devices. I'd probably go with separate drives for each.

• Yes, the drive will need to be formatted to work with both. Most likely formatting as exFat and choose mbr instead of gpt partition. This will insure to work with both.
