To be honest...... It's marketing in most cases; however, it can and sometimes means slight speed improvements, etc. But in these models, I have personally not noticed a difference as a "normal" user, but I did not benchmark them either. I ALWAYS go with the cheaper model..... Just saying
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The My Passport Ultra drive has a 2-tone metal case rather than plastic. It's definitely worth the additional $5-$10 cost (even better if you happen to catch it on sale!)
