QuestionDoes this radio work with earphones? There is an audio input but doesn't work with headphone.

- Answer Hello Mehaul, Thank you for your question. The Audio Line Input is for connecting a device such as MP3 Player to play sound through the speaker but not used as an Audio Output for headphone or earphones.

- Answer It uses batteries and also a wind up generator if no batteries or plug in outlet is available. I think AM and FM bands are available worldwide.

QuestionHow long does each wind-up of the built in generator does it provide power to the radio without batteries? Does the generator also recharge the batteries?

- Answer I have not put it to the test to see how long I need to wind it for but it also utilizes solar. I believe if u had rechargeable batteries it may recharge them but would take quite a bit if winding

QuestionDoes this have a headphone jack? It says so in the specifications but I've seen some other radios where reviewers said there was no jack, contrary to the specs. Also, does it get a strong signal? I have issues in the building where I work.

- Answer It has a line in plug to connect a 3.5 mm audio cable. Signal appears to be strong but I'm in a residence.

- Answer I bought this for my Mom for Christmas and the ac adapter out of the box didn't work and when cranked it doesn't work either. I'm hoping we just got a defective unit. Unfortunately I bought the unit around black friday and now it's January so the stores 30 day return has passed.
