• The manual says to allow at least 24" between the booster and the inside antenna.

• Our are half way around the house. We ran the cable around the outside of the house [discretely] before bringing it in the window and installing the booster inside. I needed it most in my office so we tried the booster inside in 3 different places before actually installing it. [Took a while!]

• About 12-15 feet. Booster works best when located “behind” where antenna is pointing. Instructions are excellent, and leave little room for confusion.

• Per my experience, it doesn't matter regardless of installation it won't work.
