same thing happened to me. i filled out an account with mobile phone number included. filled the webroot key info on it and hit enter. this site webroot.com/secure is a scam. as soon as i hit enter the site said i was compromised and my phone rang, they try to get you to download a app so they can take over your laptop and make you pay. i then uninstalled there app and called the web root phone they said if you buy web root from best let the geek squad install it, so the best advise i would say dont do it your self call geek squad have them do it and save yourself a major head ache that i had
