• Dear Knitter; You can use it on both Windows and MAC machines. No problems at all. You can even set it up for daily, weekly or monthly scans. The best route is to download the program from the Internet. You can Google "Webroot download" and you'll find this: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/geeksquad-dl This is the website for Webroot's Geek Squad link. • I purchased the above version and put in on my Mac. I also have Windows 8.1 loaded on my Mac and loaded it for windows.

• Sorry I use mine on pc and laptop.I don,t know if it can be used on Mac. You have to call Best Buy an associate could help you.
