“My Webroot subscription is up for renewal and it costs for $49.99 for one year. The Best Buy site offers a 2 year subscription for the same price. Is there any reason not to buy thru the BB site instead of the "renewal" offer?”

If you can get a better offer, I say go for it! Just attach the new subscription key under "my account" of your existing/installed Webroot software.
