• VB; No matter when you purchase Webroot, it will automatically update itself to the 2016 or 2017 or 2018 version. It's done it since day one for me. Buy whatever one you want; you will still get an update to today's latest and greatest version of Webroot. Best of luck.

• vb, Webroot is always up to date with the latest version. For example, if you purchased a boxed copy from Amazon that said 2015, as soon as you installed it, it would update to the latest build. I hope this helps! Regards, James G.
