“Price Last week a message appeared on my computer indicating it was in danger. The 800 number took me to a company that sold me Webroot over the phone. I paid quite a bit of money to buy it for three years and, also, have a monthly charge. Would buying Webroot at retail have saved this vast amount of money? I've had webroot for 6 years. I bought the first year from Best Buy. After you can automatically have it renew each year. I bought a 3 year renewal subscription at a reduced yearly price. I have NEVER been charged a monthly fee. I'm suspicious of what you actually have. I would never buy something that popped up on my computer. It may not be trustworthy. Good luck.

It is advisable to contact your financial institutions and dispute the charge as well as remove any software that they installed on your computer.
