Very few viruses attack a computer's operating system anymore. It used to be true that Macs were more secure, but there have actually been a significant amount of viruses targeted at Macs recently. Any device connected to the Internet is at risk of a virus (PC, Mac, mobile phone, etc.). One of the largest myths in technology is that Macs are more secure.

Macs are not secure from being attacked and as they grow in popularity, hackers will target them and create more malicious code more often.
