is there a way to install without disk?? my daughter won her 3 in one tab at school and her teacher bought her the webroot security cd, thing is her laptop doesn't take in cds, is there another way to install???

I recently downloaded Webroot, as I don't have a disc drive on my computer, either. The information is on the packaging for how to download it direct from the Internet at Webroot.com/safe. You'll need the product code, also on the packaging.

My understanding about this appeared when I waited to activate it with my disc because I was away. I received an email about installing my product from online. Perhaps if you were to email or contact Webroot and provide them with the purchase code (on the CD ) they could send a link or even install it remotely.

Should be able to download off of the web. If you had best buy use your email with your purchase they might have sent you a link. Either way Webroot support can help you if you run into any issues.

YES! Just call Webroot directly and they will have you download it from their website directly. As long as you have the secret code from your box, you can activate it and register the product all at the same time while on the phone with them. When my last laptop was having trouble, that's what I did, and it worked fine.

Maybe your daughter can enter the security code from the webroot CD unto her labtop. Or she can get an App from the webroot CD and download it into her Labtop.

Yes go to Best Buy and get a external cd/dvd drive. That way you can do the downloading.
