“I just purchased this TV for my mom. We are noticing a strong "burning" or "gas" odor. Should I return it?”

• Mine had the same issue (smelled like something was burning or melting) not sure why but very unpleasant. I was going to return mine but I really wanted the built in DVD player so I kept hoping it would go away. After 2 months it has mostly gone away. A scented candle helps. Hope this helps.
