I had the no signal code too. Make sure you have the tv tuned to the correct input/source. Also make sure your device is plugged in. Sounds funny but my daughter forgot to plug the firestick in. Once it was plugged in I made sure the tv was set to HDMI 1 which is where the firestick was plugged into the tv. It worked fine then. The ports are labeled on the back so you so that makes it easier.
