“How is this TV powered in the event of power failure? Does it require batteries or what to operate?”

• if you lose power this tv will not turn on. unless you have a generator running to power a surge protector. there is no battery for it, only works off an electrical outlet.

• The TV uses an electrical cord for power and it does not use any type of batteries.
