You should be able to depending on the outputs on your VCR. If you are using Component Outputs (Red, White & Yellow) the picture quality will not be very good on this TV because the aspect ratio on those older VCR's does not match the aspect ratio of the TV. You would do much better with a DVD or Blue-Ray Player with a HDMI Output.

Depending on the connections, a VCR may be used.
