Is this a good TV to buy null

No. Do not buy a Westinghouse! Mine stopped working in ONE MONTH and nobody wants to help me .

To watch broadcast tv on this TV you have to connect an external antenna to the DTV/TV input. Then you can receive locally broadcast OTA (Over The Air) tv channels. This tv does not support QAM so it cannot receive cable tv from any cable tv supplier. This TV can also be used as a computer monitor. The TV has both VGA and HDMI inputs for this purpose. Then whatever movies etc are available online Netflix Amazon prime etc can be watched. This TV has a really excellent HD picture-as good as my LG smart tv. The sound is adequate (not bad) from the TV speakers. You can also plug computer speakers into the ‘headphone’ output (3.5 mm) and the sound is very good. Having said all that I like this TV a lot. Yes its a good TV as long you understand the above

It is a good quality TV, It has a built in tuner. All TV,s have or should have them, unless it says other wise on the box. If it does NOT have a tuner then it is called a monitor. The quality of picture, the reception of channels and the missing of digital channels are due to the era you live. Plus the most important thing is the antenna, the location of antenna. I have found that when I used old copper antennas work better than the expensive electric antennas.

I've owned it for 8 months and its been great during this time. Good picture, and you can't beat the price -- and I paid like $20 more than it currently is too.

I bought mine in December of 2010, and have not had one moment of trouble with it. The picture is as good as any TV I have seen in the stores. The sound quality from its built-in speakers is sub-par, so I recommend using external speakers, such as computer speakers that have an amplifier.

Worst tv I've ever owned. Doesn't get all digital channels. I spoke to westinghouse and they stated I need a converter box. Really? Brand new 2016 tv and I need a converter box?! Don't waste your money
