Try changing your HDMI cord. Whey we bought this TV, I purchased a "4K" hdmi cord. We had awful lag! Went back to our regulars HDMI cord and voile! All was better :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No way. I played around with it for a full day, and found no relief for either the horrible lag or the soap opera effect. It's a cheap, badly-made television that is priced low to reel in suckers. For this price, you can get a nice 1080p that won't have any of those issues. The extra resolution of 4K won't be very helpful if all you can watch are dramas and slow-moving comedies. Anything faster or more action-oriented and it looks terrible, as you've no doubt noticed. Cheap 4K panels are cheap for a reason. They're junk.
