A:Answer Don't know why they just didn't come out and says it, instead of telling you to call them. But if you don't have an ANTENNA connected you won't get any channels. So yes you will need to by a digital antenna and connect it to the TV. I posted a picture of a cheap TV antenna, but depending on how far you are from your local TV Station Antenna's either a more expensive indoor TV or better yet, an outdoor TV Antenna, the cheap one I show here will work, but you might not get every available stations in your area
