“The photo shows it is 5.5 inches high.....this can't be correct, is it?? Can the DVD player work without having the tv hooked up to an antenna? I mostly want it for DVDs but needed the larger screen. Can it be used with an Amazon Fire Stick? Thank you”

Hi Kricket! This TV can certainly be used with an Amazon Firestick! The Antenna connection is also optional. Since the DVD player is built-in, just be sure to change the source input to DVD and to enjoy your DVDs! The TV dimensions with the stand installed is 28.7"x 18.7"x 6.3", with a diagonal display measurement of 32". Hope this helps!
