“Hi: Looks like a great console that will fit our needs for the Samsung 60" Dia 4K TV. You mention that this is for 55" Dia model. Is this because the console width is 49.75" and the TV is 53.2" and the TV would stick out about 2" on both sides? Bill”

I bought a 55" TV and it comes to the very edges of the stand. The feet on the TV are about 2" from either edge. I would measure carefully before putting a 60" TV on this.

That is correct Bill; to avoid instability the base of the television must be able to rest on the supporting surface of the unit without over-hanging the edges. Please contact Whalen at 866-942-5362 M-F, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (PST) if you have any further questions.

Yes. I currently have a 55" TV on this stand and it hangs over just a bit.
