“Just installed one of these and have it vented through my roof. When I use the fan at any speed it is still venting air into the room as well as the external vent. Whirlpool Support says this is normal. Doesn’t make sense to me. Any opinions?”

I had Geek Squad come back to fix that. The vent panels on top have to be installed a certain way - its illustrated in the installation manual. Also, one of those vent panels have to be replaced with a solid panel. There will be some air blowing out of the top panels, but not much.
