Hi lou. Unfortunately, this Whirlpool® Microwave does not come in black stainless steel. This Microwave may be vented vertical or horizontal. We hope this helps!

Yes it does vent from the top and a very good vent I love it! Also perfect size, so glad I got it I have limited counter space so this is perfect!!
