I bought mine in late October. I didn’t want it installed right away. I didn’t even purchase installation. I took my old microwave out myself and thought I could install the new one. But, was too much for me so I went back to the store in Late November and purchased an installation. They came December 7th and did an outstanding job. So yes, you can install later.
