“How has your experience been with the vent fan on this unit? If the kids want lots of pancakes, will it work to vent the smoke from the griddle? I wonder if buying a compact unit would mean sacrificing on the power for the vent fan.”

• It’s pretty powerful on high although it is pretty loud. It does suck up the fumes while frying.
