“what side does the cord go up into the cabinet.... I'd like to pre drill the cabinet now, and before I install unit. Also it would help in placing the outlet before hand”

Please try again later.Very easy instructions are available on the bestbuy website scroll down to from the manufacturer and scroll down to install instructions pdf download I used it before I purchased my unit it has all the vital information needed to install the microwave. If you do exhaust to the outside which I recommend you need to purchase extra items ( a starter collar (it connects to the ventilation flap on top of the oven) also a 3.25 to 10” adapter to 6” round duct. ( I had to get the duct supplies at Lowe’s Homedepo did not have the starter collar and the adapter) and don’t forget to use the aluminum duct tape to sill the joints [the hole for the cord is about 7-8” over and 6-7” up from the back of the right hand side of the frame. Very easy to install but 2 people are needed to do it safely my brother and I had it installed in about 15 minutes after all the prep work.

If you read installations, or YouTube installation, you'll want to wait until you get the unit to cut holes. The template, which is also the mounting bracket works great and gives you exact locations for all holes, for the cord, vent and mounting.
