Not at all. Works wonderful installed as it came in the box. It was a breeze.

no if u dont need to. this low profile microwave come from factory recycling air into the house/ apartment like most of them are. but if ur house had the air duct to vent out u can also conver it to be able to vent air out as well

No. That’s optional. You can use it in recirculate mode as well.
