Do you have to open the door in order to use the timer feature? It looks like the timer is on the inside of the door and it seems odd that you’d have to open the microwave door to just set the timer. null

I believe so. I finally just figured out to turn the timer off you can just push the cancel on the outside but I do open mine to set the timer, only draw back

Jon, thanks for your inquiry. To operate the timer feature, you will have to open the door to access the control panel. Press the Timer control, enter time, then touch the Timer control or the Start

Yes - the door must be open to set the timing. It takes a bit of getting use to. The microwave itself is very impressive and beautiful.
