“I just bought this unit. The power cord appears to be on the back of the unit instead of on top which means I now have to cut holes in my wall instead of simply up to the cabinet above where the power source is. Please tell me this is not the case.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The power cord on my unit came out at the top so it went directly into the bottom cabinet along side the vent duct.

I have a cabinet over the stove and they (the delivery men) put in brackets that held it beneath the cabinet and put the wire in the cabinet where there is a outlet and plugged it in. I could never had done it myself, so I left it up to them and it works real good and I am more than happy with it for it gives me more counter space. Perhaps you can get in touch with Best Buy and tell them your problem. I know they will have an answer for you. Good luck
