“Might be a silly question but how do I turn the light on for underneath the microwave. Every time I press the light button it just says hi/low on the microwave.”

We are terribly sorry to hear about your concern. We would recommend contacting Whirlpool at 800-253-1301. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8 AM - 8 PM and Wednesday through Friday 9 AM - 7 PM. They will be better able to assist you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The light might be blocked by something like paper or tape, the other option is that your lightbulb may just be out. The light should come on when you click the icon.
