- Answer Hello! Cooktop light: The cooktop light is located on the underside of the microwave oven and is replaceable. Remove bulb cover screws and open the bulb cover. Replace bulb, close bulb cover, and secure with screws.Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.

QuestionClock time only comes on when you open the door. When the door is closed the light clock time goes out.

- Answer By default it’s set to reciculate and vent from the front of the unit towards the ceiling, depending on your cabinets this might be an issue.

- Answer I'm unable to answer this question as I had the Geek Squad remove and intall the new microwave. It only took him 30 minutes as he indicated there were no modifications required to install the new mircrowave as everything matched up. He did use the new mounting bracket that came with the new unit.
