“Is this microwave self venting or does it have to be vented to the outside?”

• Both, it is set up to vent into the home but it came with the stuff to change it over to exterior venting if needed.

• It is self venting, or it can be set to exhaust directly to the rear or straight up. The last two options require pre-existing ducting. But yes, it comes set up to self vent. When installing the unit Is installed, you have to move the exhaust system to the direction your installation requires.

• I'm not sure whether it *can* be vented to the outside, but ours just vents upward into the kitchen, so no, it does not have to vent to the outside.
