• Yes, you can replace your previous model with this one. Most (if not all) over-the-range microwave ovens are the same width (~30 inches). We recently replaced a 12-year-old Kenmore microwave with this one, and the installer had no problems.

• Yes, you can pretty much replace it with any microwave you want as long as it will fit in the opening, and they are all usually within the same size.
