• Yes, it has a cooking surface light (underneath the microwave) with two brightness settings, the dimmer of which would be suitable for use as a way to provide some nighttime illumination in a dark kitchen.

• There is no night light setting, but there are two brightness settings on the range light. The lower of the two could be used as a night light, but that seems like overkill. Just get a night light.
