“Where is the hidden vent and how does it work compared to a top vent?”

• It vents out of the top at the front part of the Microwave. Can't see it unless your 7 foot tall..

• Dear Customer: On other models the vent is located at the top of the microwave. This model streamlines the appearance of the microwave exterior with a hidden vent that also simplifies cleaning. • There is a top vent that requires exhaust ducting. I believe the hidden vent they're talking about is the vent that that sucks up steam and such from the stove top. I guess you can call it hidden because you can't see it unless you look for it.
