QuestionMy screen goes to the clock in the middle of cooking so I can not see the time left. The microwave has reset itself as if the power went out. I often cannot scroll on the screen as it keeps returning to the top.

QuestionIs the vent on the front top of the door for recirc. vent fan configuration only or is it required for microwaving as well? I plan to build the cabinet above the microwave so the cab. door is flush with the microwave door, I plan to vent outside.

- Answer Hello FlushUpperCabinet! The fan will come on automatically to cool the control panel if needed if the controls get too hot from the range below. We recommend the microwave be installed per the Installation Instructions for proper installation.

Questionit says “NO” next to sensor cook under Specifications. But also says the appliance does has sensor cook within the descriptions below. This is confusing many customers causing them to email me the question

- Answer Hi Fitment, it really depend on the cutout dimensions you have. If the new unit is 2 inches deeper then it may not fit flush.

Questionwhen the automated fan kicks on is there a way to turn it off manually

- Answer The automated fan only starts up when the heat below the microwave is too hot. There is no way to override this automated fan. It shuts down after temp sensor in microwave finds internal temps below the upper limit.

- Answer If you are using the "Convection" setting, than any kind - metal, glass, etc. If you are using Microwave or "Mixed" (i.e. Convection w/ microwave) anything WITHOUT any kind of metal, including NOTHING decorated with a metal edge of paint/glazing

- Answer I installed ours last night, then cooked dinner. It vented out the strong smell of sauteed garlic and onion smells nicely.

- Answer It can recirc to inside or vent up or vent toward the rear. You just adjust the fan before installation.
