We had trouble keeping it at zero at first so we put a thermometer in there to track it. As long as we keep the refrigerator & freezer pretty full it will stay around zero. Otherwise, you will see it vary. Overall we love it.

Turning the rotating knob inside the freezer all the way to the left seems to help. In the fridge on the control panel, it works better when all 3 LED's are lit, but the fridge does not seem to be retaining this setting. Definitely worth the $5-$10 for thermometers for fridge and freezer. We have had to monitor it regularly. The fridge needed a full defrost once because the temps in the fridge were 50 F or more.

In all, for the price point, I am very pleased with the unit. I would likely keep a refrigerator thermometer in an even higher end model for the same reasons, to keep an eye on the temp of food in the refrigerator. The only time I’ve had the freezer temp dip is when I’m trying to bring the refrigerator temp up a touch so the milk doesn’t freeze. It works. For me it usually runs a tad cold.
