Multiple answers indicate the icemaker can be disabled-I do not want it. But a couple people have mentioned even when the bar is in the parallel position and off, the freezer still makes some noise periodically due to the ice maker. Is that true? null

I haven't noticed that happening

Hi Tracer, as long as the arm is in the off position, there shouldn't be any activity from the icemaker. Here is the link to the Owner's Manual. https://bit.ly/3shHV1r You can find more information on the icemaker in this unit on page 14. We hope this helps!
