Ours was a 3/8 inch copper older water line and the delivery people installed it with the stainless connection tube. Just let them deliver it and take care of that.

We do recommend checking for leaks, but it should work well. I hope this offers the information you needed. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had a lot of coiled copper tubing coming up through the wall and the installer cut it shorter and added a flexible tubing to connect to the fridge. Works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it should. We just upgraded our refrigerator and we have a copper line from the old fridge. We just tested it to make sure it had water flow and pressure. We had to tweak the flow but otherwise it is working great. Previously we had not been using the water in the old fridge.
