• Yes it does. I just walked into my kitchen and checked. I put my hand directly on the side of it, opened the door and it didnt move or press on it at all.

• Yes, when you open the door the hinge side never extends beyond the side wall of the microwave, so you can recess it into a cabinet. You just won't be able to have it open fully because the front face/handle will hit the wall.

• Yes, it has a zero-clearance door. We installed ours next to a wall and can open the door with no problem.
