Hi MsJackson, this model comes with the ice and water dispenser, we do not advise to alter the unit in anyway. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!

Please try again later.I also searched for this model without ice maker in the door.Was told this model does not come with the option to have ice maker or not.But if it helps any it's so far been doing great and looks so nice in our new kitchen.The only negative is the finish is a high gloss so to me it's the same with finger prints as stainless steel but wipes easy with wipes.
