“Will a Gallon container of milk fit the top glass shelve? We like to put a gallon of milk and juice bottles on the top shelve of our current refrig. From reading the reviews, it seems to be an issue for some.”

Yes - no problem with ours. However wine bottles must lay flat and if opened must be put in door
