• Yes, it is smudge proof. I had that same concern, and didn't purchase until I saw another whirlpool model in black on display so I could "test" it LOL.

• No, the finish is very glossy. But easy to keep clean. But I live alone, so do not have small hands touching everything.

• The front is smooth and shows fingerprints from a side angle view, not as bad as stainless or white would. The sides are textured and don't show any.
