Like most appliances by Whirlpool, it is assembled in Mexico, Ohio or elsewhere using parts from the cheapest sources in the world. Our WRS325FDAM says it was made in Mexico. I bought the five year extended warranty and strongly suggest you do the same. We hope the model WRS325FDAM will last five years. It replaced our 25 year old American made Kenmore, as the parts to repair the compressor were no longer available. The maker of the compressor parts went out of business when the Kenmore moved to Mexico.

I believe this item was made overseas. We were looking for one made in the USA but no one in our area had them. Hope this helps.
