What kind of ice cubes does this make and is it noisy? null

Not noisy at all. Makes half moon cubes or crushed ice.

Makes those half circle ones. Crushed Ice feature will crush for you. I do not feel it is noisy at all. Yes, You will hear them drop but not excessively loud. I see it as a comforting sound, kind alike hearing the noise of a Jet Engine when you are on a plane at 35,000 to 40,000 feet - Very comforting as you know it is working....
